Accounting Manager:

Responsibilities:

-Responsible for general ledger, accounts payable, & accounts receivable.

-Prepares general and statistical ledger entires.

-Perform monthly cash reconciliations and various balance sheet account controls to ensure accuracy.

-Responsible for closing the books on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

-Responsible for compiling financial data to satisfy corporate consolidation reporting requirements.

-Takes part in the budgeting and planning process by establishing schedules, collecting, analyzing and consolidating relevant data.

-Takes active part in the credit and collections process, inventory, and material costing.

-Protects company assets through development of internal controls in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

-Minimum of BS in Accounting or related field

-Minimum of 4-6 years Accounting experience

-MS Office experience necessary

-Experience with MAPICS ERP system a plus

-Cost accounting experience a plus

-Must possess excellent organizational skills

-Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously

 

 

Inside Sales Representative:

Summary: The Inside Sales Representative will work cooperatively with outside sales and other members of the manufacturing and engineering teams to grow existing customers, create new customers, and meet and/or exceed monthly sales quotas at the appropiate gross margin while increasing customer satisfaction. This position would be a crucial contributor to the business effort to achieve year after year growth. The focus on this position will be for eventual promotion to an outside sales role.

Responsibilities:

-Generate new and repeat sales by providing product and technical information in a timely manner.

-Determine customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions.

-Prepare quotations, present price, credit and terms in accordance with standard procedures and customers' profitability profiles.

-Provide accurate information regarding availability of in-stock items.

-Obtain all technical requirements from customer following sale.

-Educate customers about terminology, features, and benefits of products in order to improve product related sales and customer satisfaction.

-Communicate with all Manufacturing Staff; Monitor scheduled shipment dates to ensure timely delivery and expedite if necessary.

-Contact customers following sales to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and resolve any complaint.

-Fill requests for catalogs, information and/or samples.

-Setup and maintain customer files

-Identify trends in customer satisfaction or dissatisfaction.

-Manage time effectively, meet personal goals, and work effectively with other team members.

-Maintain proficiency in using personal computer, data entry terminal and other common office equipment and software.

-Follow company policies and procedures.

-Present a professional image at all times to customers and vendors.

-Coordinate with Outside Sales Team to maintain business-to-business relationships by passing along sales leads obtained through trade shows or other sources.

-Participate in professional training and development to enhance overall performance in providing quality service to achieve department standards.

-Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements/Experience:

-Associate's Degree in Business Management (or equivalent experience).

-Strong desire to advance into an Outside Sales position (a must)

-Sales and/or Customer Service experience a plus

-Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred

-Effective interpersonal communication skills needed for verbal communication, written communication and in-person communication with customer

-Excellent root cause analysis and problem solving skills required

-Must be familiar with Windows and Microsoft Office

-Must be able to travel 5-15% of the time initially; eventually Outside Sales role will require additional travel.

-The candidate must be able to work in both individual and team environment settings.

-This position requires time management skills with excellent communication ability in order to work across all levels of the design and manufacturing process.

-Must have flexible thinking and creative problem solving skills.
